I have a 92 Buick Century and the problem is when the weather is cold the car runs perfect when the weather warm to hot the cars will get hot and buck and stall out after 15 min. Then it will start back up and it will do the same thing after 15 min. What is causing this?

It could be the thermostat, or the electric fan might not be working. Let it run for 15 minutes, idling, and see if the fan comes on. if it doesn't, check all your fuses.

If it isn't this, it could be a sensor problem. To properly diagnose it, you need to wait until it is happening and take to a mechanic or dealership where they can plug in a special adapter and read the error codes. This should tell you the problem.

I would check your antifreeze/coolant levels. Also take a look to make sure no holes or cracks are in hoses. Being a 1992, it is older so I am not sure how many times you have changed or flushed the anti freeze.

Finally i would suggest taking it in to a certified mechanic and check your radiator.

Examine your fuel system. If you're using ethanol-rich fuel, that's one of the problems with alcohol.
