I already know GM had EV1's but took them off the road and crushed all of them. Did any other car company have them?

No the EV1 was a GM vehicle.

Other companies like Honda, Toyota, and Ford did build electric vehicles to complete with it. They all stopped because of the huge costs of making them, low demand (people didn't want to pay huge prices), and poor technology at the time. All but Ford crushed them. GM actually stuck it out longer than anyone else.

Toyota RAV-4 EV - made 1,249 from 1996-2002.

GM EV1 - made about 1,000 from 1996-2003.

Honda EV Plus - made about 300 from 1997-1999.

Ford Ranger EV - made 1,500 (200 surviving) from 1998-2002.

EV1 was a GM vehicle. That's like asking does any other company make a Chevrolet Impala.

No. It was a test really at the time and they never took off, the world wasn't ready for an elctric car just yet.. esp one you had to plug in...
